Description

The definitive version of John Lennon’s historic live concert in New York in 1972! The latest remastered edition reproduces two performances with the best sound source and HD quality video! The first and last “One to One” charity concert held by John Lennon after the breakup of The Beatles. The historic concert held twice, day and night, at Madison Square Garden in New York on August 30, 1972, has been newly released as “Definitive One to One Concert” as the latest edited definitive version carefully selected from the many existing sound sources and videos! Until now, albums and videos were released after the start of TV broadcasting at that time, but all of them were short highlight edits and incomplete content. In this 2CD, the concert held in the afternoon and evening is reproduced as much as possible with the existing sound board sound source. It is recorded in the longest version of the latest edit that consolidates the many sound source sources with the best quality. Previously released albums and videos, as well as sound source sources such as TV and radio broadcasts, have been carefully examined and re-edited, and recorded in the latest remaster. Although both performances are incomplete, all of the existing soundboard sources are used to reproduce the two performances in the best quality ever. Not only the main act, but also the performance parts of Sha Na Na, Roberta Flack, and Stevie Wonder are recorded, and all of the broadcast soundboard sources released later are recorded, and additional versions and remixes are also recorded, making it the longest version ever. The DVD includes the famous video works “Live in New York City” and “One to One Concert” in the latest remastered video with high-quality HD quality, which is the first time they have been released. All of the videos and DVDs that have been circulated in the past have only been analog-based and have not been officially released, but “Live in New York City” is recorded with a newly digitally remastered upgraded video. The amazing high-quality HD quality video, which is clearly clearer and more vivid than the previous videos, is a must-see. The sound source has also been changed to the latest remastered mix, making it a best version in a different dimension from the previous ones. The “One to One Concert” is based on the TV broadcast version and only footage from videos and laserdiscs has been recorded, but this time it is recorded from the “ARTE HD” version broadcast on German TV. This is also the best version with the least degradation in image quality. In addition, related footage such as other edits, rehearsals, and film archives are also included as extra footage. This is a 2CD & 3DVD special edition that is the latest edited and definitive version of the “One to One” concert, which can be said to be a valuable live record of John, who has never performed a concert tour since the breakup of the Beatles. The concert, which took place in the afternoon and evening, is reproduced with soundboard sound. The longest, definitive version of the latest edit, consolidating the many audio sources in the best quality. The longest version includes many alternative versions and Stevie Wonder and other performers. The DVD includes the video version and TV version in high-definition HD quality, which are appearing for the first time, as well as alternative edits, rehearsals, and film archive footage.
