John Lennon’s solo album “Mind Games” was released in October 1973 (US / November UK). The album was controversial at the time of its release because it was a turning point such as “Lost Weekend” immediately after production due to the American immigration problem and changed from the politically-tinged previous work “Sometime in New York City” to an introspective content, but the 2024 expanded version has been newly released and is being re-evaluated. DISC 1 contains a new remix edited by AI multi-track from the latest ATOMS sound source as “AI NEW REMIX ALBUM”. The album includes a unique remix of the multi-channel stereo mix, which is different from the various remixes of the latest remasters, and highlights the sounds and backing that were buried in the multi-channel stereo mix. The additional tracks in the second half include newly released studio outtakes of notable “hidden tracks” that have not been included in the regular album, such as “I’m the Greatest” provided to Ringo, and the single versions of “Rock ‘n’ Roll People” and “Meat City” released by Johnny Winter.
