Around 2012, John Abercrombie, who was actively performing live in a quartet with Mark Copeland, performed at a concert in Vienna, Austria on October 16th from the 2013 Euro Tour. This two-part live performance was recorded in 1 hour and 47 minutes from the digital audience master that was recently released by Taper. In recent years, Abercrombie has often performed as an organ trio, and rather than the ECM sound, he performed in an orthodox organ jazz style. Abercrombie, who originally showed off his career as a funky guitar player, performs perfect orthodox jazz here.
