And this work is a masterpiece that is the culmination of that love. “ANAHEIM 1977 1ST NIGHT (hereafter, the previous work)” was also a masterpiece of the Millard collection, but this work goes even further. Of course, since it is the same venue and the same equipment, the basic quality is very similar, but this work is thicker and richer while maintaining the on direct feeling and clarity. This difference is probably due to the (slight) difference in position. In the previous work, it was recorded from the 11th row in the center of the first floor, but this work is about half that, “row 6”. The “Anaheim Convention Center” where the scene was recorded seems to have a characteristic shape of the ceiling, and this slight difference seems to affect the echo. Millard has produced famous recordings at various venues, but especially the “Anaheim Convention Center” has been researched for many years to explore the sweet spot.
