Description
A treasured soundboard album from the 60’s is set to be released. This work contains BBC broadcasts from 1968 to 1969. In terms of albums, they correspond to the debut album “THIS WAS” and the second album “STAND UP”. Although there are many different types of BBC broadcasts, the concept of this work is a compilation of the famous program “TOP GEAR” that appeared three times. The first three songs are from September 22, 1968, the very early broadcast one month before the release of the debut album “THIS WAS”. Of course, it is from the Mick Abrahams era. It is the same session as “A Song For Jeffrey”, which opened the official compilation album “20 YEARS OF JETHRO TULL”, but in addition to “A Song For Jeffrey”, this work also includes “My Sunday Feeling” and “So Much Trouble”. The next four songs are also taken on November 5, 1968 during the “THIS WAS” era. This live performance is different from the studio album, but also different from the concert where the audience sings in front of you. This is a masterpiece of a soundboard album with plenty of unique flavor. Please enjoy to your heart’s content the pinnacle of British rock music from 1968 to 1969, when it was about to be reborn.
