Description
This 3-disc set contains the three best sound quality performances from the joint North American tour with ZZ TOP in the summer of 2014. The performances were held before ZZ TOP, and each performance lasted about 70 minutes. After this, the tour was canceled midway due to ZZ TOP bassist Dusty Hill being injured. The set is a slightly more compact version of the usual set, but since Jimmy Hall is accompanying the tour, you can enjoy a number of songs such as Morning Dew, Why Give It Away, A Change Is Gonna Come, Superstition, Rollin’ And Tumblin’, and Going Down, which are quite different from the 2014 Japan performance. Disc 1 contains the Albuquerque performance on August 19th. The sound is close and dead, and although it feels a bit cramped, it is easy to listen to without any distortion. The sound has been appropriately remastered to add power to the sound. The audience noise during the performance is not noticeable, and the sound is close, so it is very easy to listen to. Disc 2 contains the Kansas City performance on August 23rd. This was recorded at an outdoor venue, and the distance of the performance was about the same as on the 19th. The occasional wind noise is a flaw, but the sound is very direct. The first song is a fade-in recording. In addition, the fine noise caused by the original sound was carefully corrected in several places, making it much easier to listen to than the original sound uploaded on the Internet. Disc 3 contains the Maryland Heights performance on August 24th. This is the best sound source recommended this time! The sound is the closest, the sound is the most direct with a strong sound. There are no problems such as noise, and the performance is centered throughout, and the stable sound image is very wonderful. The sound was originally quite loud, but some volume adjustments were made, making it even more powerful.
