Description

From October 22nd to 24th, 1968, from the North American tour after the release of the first Jeff Beck Group’s first album “Truth”, Boston held a concert at the Tea Party Club (which was open from 1967 to 1971).・The performance at the hall) is recorded as an audience recording (1Gen). Co-stars were Kingston Market in Canada and Earth Opera in the United States. (He also appeared at the Tea Party in May 1969) Anyway, the sound quality is very wonderful, and you’ll be impressed by Beck’s resonant natural tone in the You Shook Me intro! (Disc 1’s Shapes Of Things cuts in, Shapes ~ Rice Pudding inter-song cut, Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye cuts at 2:23, Disc 2’s Shapes Of Things cuts in, Disc 3’s It’s My Own Fault, A Natural (Woman, Shapes Of Things, Beck’s Bolero, Blues are the same cut-ins as previously released) This is a standard sound source, but previously released songs include “Boston Tea Party 1968”, “Boston Two Days”, “Party All Night” “, “Let’s Have A Party”, etc. There are various items, but some have noticeable distortion due to dubbing, some have excessive equalization, and some have inaccurate pitches (some were not arranged in chronological order). There were some disadvantages, so this release can be called good news! His brilliant play includes Rice Pudding, You Shook Me, Let Me Love You, I Ain’t Superstitious, Shapes Of Things, Morning Dew, Rock My Plimsoul, and songs including “Beck Ora” and “Truth”. Needless to say, the blues-chord ensembles such as Jeff’s Boogie, It’s My Own Fault, Sweet Little Angel, Talk To Me, Baby, and Blues De Luxe were simply amazing, and Rod later said that this tour was very memorable. As he recalls, it was a challenging experience, and the many improvisational plays are definitely worth listening to! Indeed, unlike around 1967, when the influence of Mickey Most was strong, you can fully enjoy Beck’s individuality at its fullest and the most fulfilling ensemble of the first JBG with ideal sound quality and ideal editing. A must-have item for fans will be released overseas. Live at Boston Tea Party, Boston, MA. USA 22nd, 23rd & 24th October 1968 TRULY AMAZING SOUND Live at Boston Tea Party, Boston, MA.
