Description

A treasured recording of the Paris performance, which marked the beginning of the European performance of the 1981 “Sound Affects Tour”, recorded with a good mono soundboard recording! A treasured recording of a live performance held on February 26, 1981 at the Pavillon Baltard, a historic concert hall located in Nogent-sur-Marne, France, from the 1981 European tour around France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia, recorded with a good mono soundboard recording! Recorded from the TV broadcast sound source broadcast at the time, the long version of this sound source, which has two sources, is used as the master. Although it is mono, it is recorded with good mix and balance and clear sound quality. The first five songs are cut in the actual TV broadcast, but this work is recorded uncut. There are only a few seconds missing from the ending part of “When You’re Young”. The set list featured five songs from their fifth album, Sound Affects, including the single “Going Underground” released in March of the previous year, its coupling number “Dreams Of Children”, and the 11th single “Start!” released prior to the album! You can enjoy a superb performance!
