James Gang/OH,USA 2005 Complete

James Gang, known for having had many famous guitarists such as Joe Walsh and Tommy Bolin, who later became active in the Eagles, performed at the Beachland Ballroom in Ohio, the band’s home, on June 23rd during their 2005 reunion North American tour. This gig was recorded in full on soundboard audio from the radio broadcast master source. Since forming in Cleveland, Ohio in 1966, the band has continued to work steadily despite repeated member changes in the 1970s, and disbanded once, but has reunited and toured several times since around 2001, and will continue to do so until around 2012. The dynamic sound of Joe Walsh’s solo songs, from “Funk #49” to “Walk Away” and “Rocky Mountain Way,” is still alive and well on this must-listen for fans of old-school American rock.
