Description
James Blood Ulmer’s soundboard live sound source. From the most popular “ARE YOU GLAD TO BE IN AMERICA?” to the “FREE LANCING” period, the set list of “FREE LANCING” was changed to “Jazz is the Teacher” of “ARE YOU GLAD TO BE IN AMERICA?” A selection of songs sandwiched between “Are You Glad To Be In America?” There’s a good mix of vocal songs that were starting to find new potential, and instrumental songs where you can fully enjoy the true harmolodic guitar. The harmolodic guitar and the rhythm section of Amin Ali and Calvin Weston, which are the same as when recording the album, provide an inexplicable driving force. Ulmer is known as a disciple of Ornette Coleman, so if you are a fan of Ornette, please give it a listen.
