Jackson Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and toured the world on an acoustic tour in 2004. This is the finest original recording. This work contains three performances from the 2004 UK tour. This is a six-disc set that includes the “October 30th Nottingham Performance”, “November 1st London Performance”, and “November 22nd London Performance”, each recorded completely on two discs. The best part of this work is the superb sound and the large number of masterpieces. First of all, the sound is truly breathtaking. In fact, all three performances are collected by the same recorder, but that recorder is no ordinary person. He is a familiar master of the “British master” in our shop, and has been recording the British rock scene from the 1980s to the present. His skills are overwhelming and there are no misses. Of course, there are some differences in quality depending on the individuality of the band and venue, but he has been recording for decades without a single so-called failed recording. This work is a set of three masterpieces known for their exquisite beauty even in the master’s collection. In fact, the beautiful sound melts your heart. The DAT recording combines airiness and clarity, which is perfect for an acoustic show. The delicate acoustic guitar and piano are clear at the touch level, and the vocals are breathy. If the core that jumps straight into your ears is solid, the details are vivid. In addition, the venue acoustics, which are slightly wrapped up, are also wonderful. The extremely simple ensemble, which is almost a singing and playing, tends to be sparse. However, this work has a hall sound that is not too thick so as not to hide the details, elegantly wrapping the core and even majestic. The beauty is of an official work level that is finely mixed, but at the same time, it is full of the reality that can only be achieved by one-take recording. It is a beautiful sound of a dimension that makes methodologies such as sound board or customer recording meaningless. And the mood of the scene contributes to its beauty. In any case, the silence is deep. The venue was filled with silence, so quiet that you couldn’t miss even the slightest sound of the acoustic guitar or the vocalist’s breath. It was a majestic sound, but the silence was also deep. And yet, laughter was heard at the jokes of the MC. This caused a warm atmosphere to be inserted into the silence during the performance, further enhancing the warmth of the performance. The silence was a place where Jackson Browne’s singing voice was fully enjoyed. You could clearly feel the charm of it. The world of beauty and warmth permeated the entire three performances, but the content of the show was completely different. The set was freely changed in response to the audience’s requests, so you could listen to the three performances without getting bored.
