The final performances of the band’s Japan tour after the release of “HOLD OUT” in 1980, held at Nippon Budokan on November 23rd and 25th, are recorded in complete audience recordings of astonishing quality for the time. First of all, the two-day Budokan performance, which was the highlight of the Japan tour of 10 performances in total, was recorded using the best equipment at the time, and was released on CD directly from the original cassette. The sound quality is good enough to be considered an official bootleg, including the overall balance, and the atmosphere of the venue is also realistically reproduced. The live performance is a set of the best songs from all the albums up to that point, but the core is still from “LATE FOR THE SKY” onwards, and the repertoire of “HOLD OUT” in particular is worth checking out, as they performed all the songs on the album. In particular, songs such as “Of Missing Persons”, “Disco Apocalypse” and “Hold Out” have hardly been played since this tour, and since it was a consecutive performance at the same venue, the sets were different on both days, with “For Everyman”, “Walking Slow” and “Sleep’s Dark and Silent Gate” played on the first day, and “Rock Me On The Water”, “The Late Show” and “Your Bright Baby Blues” set in on the second day.
