Description

The secret gig performed as the pseudonymous band “GENGHIS KHAN”, live at the Ruskin Arms in London on December 23, 1981, is digitally remastered to the First Generation Audience Master and is the best of 77 minutes.・Here in terms of quality. First of all, it is the seventh and very early live recording since Bruce Dickinson joined, and it is the last of the live performances that took place between Bruce’s joining and the recording of “The Mark of Magic.” They also performed “Run To The Hills” and “The Prisoner” from the same album for the first time worldwide, and these are early versions whose lyrics and arrangements have not yet been finalized. Also, after “Iron Maiden” at the end, a chorus of birthday songs broke out, celebrating Dave Murray’s 25th birthday. Furthermore, disc:2 includes the sound check of the day in good quality. After a light tuning, “Transylvania” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name” were played in full, and “Wrathchild” and “Phantom of The Opera” were also rehearsed. In addition, “Hallowed Be Thy Name” is a sound check version, and it is a version that predates the release of “Magical Mark”, so please check it out. In addition, in the second half, a digest of five songs from the Rainbow Theater performance on November 15th of the same year that were not performed on that day is included. Both are valuable recorded sound sources of early Maiden, so fans must listen to them. Disc 1 : 1. Sanctuary 2. Wrathchild 3. Run To The Hills 4. Remember Tomorrow 5. Genghis Khan 6. Killers 7. Another Life 8. The Prisoner 9. Running Free 10. Murders In The Rue Morgue 11. Phantom Of The Opera 12. Iron Maiden 13. Happy Birthday Dave!! 14. Transylvania 15. Drifter 16. Prowler [Live at Ruskin Arms, London, UK 23rd December 1981] Disc 2 : 1. Soundcheck 2. Transylvania 3. Hallowed Be Thy Name 4 Wrathchild 5. Phantom of The Opera [Soundcheck at Ruskin Arms, London, UK 23rd December 1981] 6. Twilight Zone 7. 22 Acacia Avenue 8. Innocent Exile 9. Children of the Damned 10.
