Description

The “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES Tour” is a hot topic with its 50th anniversary super-rich greatest hits, and is in a state of record-craving. Two consecutive works that allow you to fully experience the glorious scene have been decided to be released simultaneously. This work is the second of the two consecutive releases. It is a spectacular audience shot of the “London performance on June 28, 2025.” We have been reporting on the “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES Tour” since its start, and this is the third work (fourth performance). The three-disc “GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2025” will also be released at the same time, so let’s first check the relative positions of each on the dates. 2025 (European Leg) * May 27th “COMPLETE BUDAPEST 2025” * May 28th “COMPLETE BUDAPEST 2025” ・ May 31st – June 16th (8 performances) * June 19th: Dessel performance ←★This work★ ・ June 21st – 25th (3 performances) * June 28th: London performance ←★This work★ ・ June 30th: Glasgow performance >>Now here<< ・ July 3rd – August 2nd (16 performances) 2026 (Undecided) The largest highlight performance to date, attracting 80,000 people This is the overall picture of the “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES Tour” announced to date. We are currently at the halfway point of all 32 European performances. The London performance of this work was the 15th performance, in the middle of the tour. And this show was undoubtedly the highlight of the tour. It may be a triumphant return performance in their hometown of London, but the important thing is the venue. The setting was the gigantic “London Stadium.” After all, a concert-sized “London Stadium” can accommodate an astounding 80,000 people. The Tokyo Dome’s capacity is 55,000, making it roughly 1.5 times larger. While IRON MAIDEN have headlined numerous mega-festivals, this was their biggest solo concert to date, drawing a crowd solely on their own merits. It wasn’t just a large crowd; all 80,000 people flocked to see IRON MAIDEN—it was an incredible scene. Experience the spectacle with breathtaking shots. This vacuum-packed release captures the entire spectacle. Shot from the stands on the left side of the stage (Dave Murray’s side), it offers an unobstructed view of both the stage and the sea of people. The cinematography, which made the most of this position, is also noteworthy. While the already popular “COMPLETE BUDAPEST 2025 (Shades 2364)” ignored the band members and focused on the screen production, this work instead focuses on the band members directly. It fully utilizes the zoom capabilities of the latest equipment to focus on the stage directly. While this means you can’t see much of the much-talked-about screen footage (though you can still see the giant edits and other special footage), you can still enjoy the most important part of the live performance as if it were happening on-site. This work allows you to experience the full live experience with the ultimate greatest hits celebrating the 50th anniversary. Be sure to check out the incredibly rich set content once again. Di’ano era (5 songs) Steel Virgin: Phantom Of The Opera (★) / Iron Maiden Killers: Murders In The Rue Morgue (★★) / Wrathchild / Killers (★★) Dickinson era (12 songs) Magical Mark: The Number Of The Beast / Run To The Hills / Hallowed Be Thy Name Powerslave: Powerslave / 2 Minutes To Midnight / Rime Of The Ancient Mariner (★) / Aces High The Seventh Prophecy: The Clairvoyant (★) / Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (★) Other: The Trooper / Fear of the Dark / Wasted Years *Note: Songs marked with a “★” have been hidden for over 10 years. Songs marked with a “★★” in particular have not been performed for over 20 years. …And so it goes. This ultra-intense set seems to condense previous revival tours—”ED HUNTER Tour,” “THE EARLY DAYS Tour,” “SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME Tour,” and “MAIDEN ENGLAND Tour”—into one. While not surprising, this record’s sheer intensity is truly impressive. And the performances that accompany it are also superb. In fact, “COMPLETE BUDAPEST 2025” felt a bit stiff, with new drummer Simon Dawson feeling unfamiliar with the band, and Bruce Dickinson’s performance on the simultaneously released “GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2025” was lackluster. There were mixed feelings. However, this London performance is a once-in-a-lifetime highlight. It’s clear that all the members were focused and in top form. If you want to see the globally talked-about screen footage, “COMPLETE BUDAPEST 2025” is the best. That remains unchanged. This album, however, is a rare opportunity to experience the largest “80,000-person local concert” in MAIDEN history in a truly spectacular way. It features the test hits that ignite such a large crowd, the incredible performance with a “This is the day!” spirit, and the exquisite sound that reveals even the subtleties of the music…it’s an absolute must-have. It also features a spectacular audience shot from the “London performance on June 28, 2025.” Shot from the stands, it offers a panoramic view of the stage and the massive stadium of 80,000 people, without any obstructions. It’s an absolute must-have, featuring the 50th anniversary’s greatest hits, the incredible performance with a “This is the day!” spirit, and the exquisite sound that reveals even the subtleties of the music…it’s an absolute must-have.
