Iron Maiden/Europe Tour 1990-1993

This is a mini-album that collects live sound sources that are often overlooked even in official singles. The lineup from the time Yannick Guards joined until Bruce Dickinson left has only two original albums, “NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING” and “FEAR OF THE DARK,” but they have released a number of live items in their place. I did. This compilation is a package of live takes of singles that were left out from the full-length live works such as “A REAL LIVE DEAD ONE”, “A REAL LIVE DEAD ONE”, “LIVE AT DONINGTON”, and “RAISING HELL”. With this one piece, you can fill in all the “holes” in the 1990-1993 live take. Also, all the takes used this time were digitized by the official side. Even if the original is an analog single, choose one that has been officially digitized as a bonus for a rare imported album or a limited edition single. This is a collection that focuses on “official work”. First of all, the first three songs (Tailgunner, Holy Smoke, The Assassin) are live performances that were included in the Dutch single “WASTING LOVE”. This is the same take as the bonus that was added to the Australian limited digipak edition (rare edition!) of the “FEAR OF THE DARK” album. Two songs from the next 12” single “FROM HERE TO ETERNITY” (No Prayer For The Dying, Public Enema Number One) and “Hooks In You” from “FEAR OF THE DARK LIVE” were released on Sanctuary in 1995. I was able to listen to it on the 2-disc “FEAR OF THE DARK” reissue. The six songs so far are the official release version of the same live as “NO PRAYER OVER WEMBLEY” that appeared this time. When I listen to it and compare it, I find that the official version has a rounded, mature sound, and is finished with an official and well-behaved sound. Of course, it’s great because it’s official, but “NO PRAYER OVER WEMBLEY” will be the favorite only during the period when it is characterized by wild and fresh. The remaining two songs are takes from the live single “HALLOWED BE THY NAME”. The live performance of the famous song Wasted Years can be heard in the 1988 version in “MAIDEN ENGALND” and the 1999 version in the single “OUT OF THE SILENT PLANET”, but this is the only version by this lineup. IRON MAIDEN is a band that often reissues rare takes, but these takes were not included because they were taken after “FIRST TEN YEARS,” and they were also omitted from the selection of the compilation album “BEST OF THE B’SIDES” in the box set. All of them are currently difficult to obtain. These are treasures that have been forgotten in the interstices of history. Please take this opportunity to add it to your collection!
