Description
The soundboard sound source of “LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR” has finally arrived! Introducing an official live album that maximizes that potential and a definitive set of superb footage!! It’s been a long time. It was really long. The ultimate greatest hits tour “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR”, which started in May last year, features a selection of all-time best songs made possible with a game theme, as well as a number of tricks that make full use of props and props. KO’s metalheads all over the world. However, all of those records were from the audience, and no matter how long I waited, no soundboard recordings came out. If it were customary, it wouldn’t have been strange to have had at least one FM broadcast last year, but to this day, there have been no radio or television broadcasts. There were whispers that it would be a tour without a sound board. But that worry is over. Although it has not been broadcast or distributed yet, a live album with official line recording has finally been released! That is this work. This is a 3-disc set with the live album of “September 9, 2019 Sacramento Performance” on discs 1-2 and the best footage on disc 3. [DISC 1-2: Matrix Album Utilizing ALD Soundboard] First up is a full live album that fully utilizes the long-awaited soundboard sound source. You may be confused by the word “utilization”, but there is a reason for this. In fact, the sound board recording that became the basis of this work is an ALD sound source that is slightly different from normal. “ALD (Assisted Listening Devices)” refers to earphone sound sources installed in the audience seats. Although only available at certain venues, there is a facility for hearing-impaired audience members that allows them to output the performance on stage and listen to it with earphones. In other words, you can record soundboard audio on line without using any space. Moreover, many of them are better than IEMs (though I can’t say for sure). IEMs are just intercepts, and are working audio for members and staff to proceed with the show. As a result, it’s an ungainly mix that makes it easy to understand the song’s grasp and my own performance. However, ALD is audio for the audience to hear. The mix is perfectly balanced and has a higher degree of musical perfection than a direct-connected soundboard or IEMs. That said, ALD also has its quirks. Since it is for earphones, it is basically monaural, and the sound that you listen to while watching the show tends to be a little dry. As it is, it is not very suitable for home audio playback. This work is the ultimate version that takes full advantage of the flavor of ALD sound source while also overcoming its shortcomings. Matrixed with the best audience recording, we have created a perfect live album. In fact, the quality is so great that it can be mistaken for an official live album. The thick core and close contact unique to the sound board are tremendous, and the triple guitar harmony and Bruce Dickinson’s excellent vocals are wonderful to be played in your mind. Moreover, it lacks the whiteness characteristic of ALD. In fact, the audience recording has a little more screaming, but because of Matrix’s exquisite sense, it is suppressed by the extremely thick performance sound, creating a sense of realism that is on the verge of becoming difficult to hear. This audience recording is only halfway through, and the last two songs “Hallowed Be Thy Name” and “Run To The Hills” are only ALD, but the fact that the core is suddenly exposed here shows how exquisite the matrix is. You will be able to see for yourself how it creates a sense of realism. Furthermore, in order to pursue the maximum potential of such a matrix sound source, this work goes as far as meticulous malting. In fact, the matrix sound source that appeared on the internet had too strong a bass, and even though it was powerful, it was also muddy and on the verge of collapse. In this work, the original sound is carefully arranged, the outline stands out clearly while maintaining the thick sound board feeling, Steve Harris’s gallop is also crisp, and Nico McBrain’s geometric drumming is also super three-dimensional. The result is a crisp sound that makes it feel like they’re back in the 80s. This mastering effect is tremendous, and even those who are familiar with the online sound source have been reborn to the point where they think, “A totally different sound board!?” [DISC 3: Spectacular shot with synchronized transcendental sound] This work also includes an audience shot that makes full use of the first sound board sound source of “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR”. This is also amazing! This is an audience shot from slightly to the right of the arena (closer to Yannick Guards), but the elevated viewpoint passes over the heads of the audience and looks directly at the stage. If you pull back as hard as you can, you’ll see that it’s not the most recent shot, but the bold zoom is like a front-row shot. Furthermore, the camera work that closely follows the highlights is exquisite. He repeatedly zooms in and out quite actively, and in the final close-up, he gets close to Bruce’s expression. Even though he is so brave, there is almost no camera shake, and Steve’s aggressive rampage and triple formation are perfect. Although it is not strictly a full show as there are some cuts between songs, each song is completely recorded. Of course, the Spitfire, Icarus, flamethrower, glowing cross, Eddie on stilts, the super-giant Eddie…a number of large props and props are also included. It seems that he is using a selfie stick with a gyro, but his camera sense is overwhelming as he does not rely solely on equipment. Perhaps this photographer has already watched many performances of “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR”. And, of course, what makes such a video a great upgrade is the super-excellent sound of “ALD + AUD + mastering”! This video itself is also available on the internet, but this is the only one that can be enjoyed with sound board audio. This video alone was more than enough to be released, but it has gone far beyond that and has become the number 1 video work of “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR”. Finally, finally, the line recording of “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR” that I had dreamed of. A masterpiece of a live album that is directly connected to Do and the latest, but raises the ALD sound board, which is better equipped than IEMs, to the official level with audience recording. Furthermore, the video work synchronizes the transcendental audio with spectacular shots. That is what this work is about. Perhaps the official work of “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR” or a pure soundboard album may not really come true. However, even if that happens, this work is still available. Such a great masterpiece.
