A treasured recording of the live performance held at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Scotland, with a capacity of about 1,900 people on December 15, 1988, from the “Instinct Tour” held immediately after the release of the ninth album “Instinct”, has been released! It has been digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, and the high-frequency sound quality has been remastered to have a wide balance of low frequencies, and the range is wide, and each part, including the vocals, is recorded with a clear and good sound quality that is well balanced. Following his comeback with his previous album, “Blah, Blah, Blah,” Iggy returned with a tour shortly after the release of “Instinct,” produced by Bill Laswell and featuring Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols on guitar. This legendary tour signaled the start of his complete comeback with a powerful band that included Alvin Gibbs of the UK Subs on bass and Andy McCoy of Hanoi Rocks on guitar. The set list featured five songs from “Instinct,” including the opening track “Instinct” and the single “High On You,” as well as Stooges numbers and rare tracks such as “Kill City” and “Johanna” from “Kill City,” both of which were released with James Williamson.
