Description
This is the FM Broadcast Edition, which recorded the New York performance from the “North American Tour 1987” with a high-quality stereo soundboard recording! The live performance held on April 1, 1987 at Bay Street, New York, from the “North American Tour 1987” held after the release of the eighth album “Blah Blah Blah” was recorded as a high-quality stereo audience recording source on the same label’s previously released “DOWN ON THE BAY STREET”, but this work is recorded with a high-quality stereo soundboard recording using an FM broadcast source by WLIR-FM. It uses an air check source that was stored in very good condition without noise, and is recorded with impeccable clear sound quality in both mix and balance. In addition, three songs, “Search & Destroy”, “Raw Power”, and “Down On The Street”, were omitted from the FM broadcast, and these three songs are supplemented and recorded with a stereo audience source in this work. The concert, held about three weeks before their second visit to Japan, kicked off with a barrage of Stooges numbers, including “Real Wild Child (Wild One),” which reached number 10 on the UK singles chart, and songs from their seventh studio album, “Blah Blah Blah,” released about six months later. Featuring Seamus Begen’s keyboards that seem to fly through the air, the album features a fast-paced arrangement with tight performances and powerful, high-quality sound.
