Iggy Pop’s latest live performance, which made a miraculous visit to Japan in April 2025 and has been much talked about, including his newly recorded version of “The Passenger” in collaboration with Siouxsie Sioux, which was used in a commercial, has arrived! This latest recording features a complete high-quality stereo audience recording of a live performance held on the outdoor stage of Peisnitz Island in Halle, Germany, on June 21, 2025! Recorded directly from the digital PCM master, it offers a wide range and a clear sound image unique to outdoor performances, allowing you to enjoy a balanced, clear, high-quality sound in each part. The concert features keyboardist Seamus Begen, who has frequently toured with Iggy since the ’80s and also played on his 1987 Japan tour, as well as Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner, The Armed drummer Julia Hickney, and a stellar horn section featuring trombone and trumpet. Just like their April Japan tour, the concert kicks off with “T.V. Eye,” followed by a whopping 10 Stooges hits, including “I Got a Right,” performed at the festival for the first time since 2003, and “1970,” also performed for the first time since 1989! While their Tokyo solo show in April ended with “Five Foot One,” this time they closed with “Fun Time,” bringing the performance to a grand finale. Enjoy the full, uncut performance!
