Description
The BLACK SABBATH reorganization project “HEAVEN & HELL” was the final beauty of the hero Ronnie James Dio. The masterpiece original recording has been decided to be released. This work includes “London performance on November 10, 2007”. This is a superb audience recording vacuum-packed from one night at the famous venue “Wembley Arena”. HEAVEN & HELL has been active for two and a half years, during which they have also released Ronnie’s posthumous album “THE DEVIL YOU KNOW” and official live albums “LIVE FROM RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL” and “NEON NIGHTS: 30 YEARS OF HEAVEN & HELL.” . The last performance in Japan was also realized. This is a good opportunity, so let’s take a look back at his career history and check out the show’s position. 2007・March 11th – May 19th: North America #1 (32 performances) ← *Official video [“THE DIO YEARS” released on April 3rd]・June 2nd – July 7th: Europe #1 (19 performances) – August 2nd – 16th: Oceania (8 performances) – August 30th – October 6th: North America #2 (23 performances) – October 20th – 27th: Asia (5 performances)・November 4th-18th: UK (11 performances) ←★Here★ 2008 ・August 6th-31st: North America #3 (18 performances) 2009 “THE DEVIL YOU KNOW” released on April 28th 》・May 5th – 17th: South America (8 performances) ・May 30th – August 1st: Europe #2 (21 performances) ← *Official video ・August 7th – 29th: North America #4 ( 16 performances) This is an overview of HEAVEN & HELL’s activities. The most active year was the first year in 2007, when they even held a performance in Japan. The Wembley Arena performance of this work was the fifth concert of the “British” tour, which took place about two weeks later. Actually, HEAVEN & HELL’s home country performance is extremely valuable. Although they performed at the SONISPHERE festival in 2009, this was their only tour. Among them, Wembley Arena is a famous venue in the capital London, and it was a symbolic show on their triumphal return tour. This work recorded at such a show is truly the best audience. Our store is an original recording by a master who is well-known as a “British master,” and this work is one of the best in the collection. His individuality is on full display as he combines a realistic atmosphere with modern clarity, and the core of each note is strong and the contours are vivid. Not only Ronnie’s singing voice and Iommi’s riff, but also Geezer’s line has a vivid sense of separation, and Vinnie’s snare is also full of density. When it was normally released from the POWER GATE label at the time, it was praised as “one of the best audience recordings of 2007”, and its freshness has not faded even now. The spectacular and beautiful sound is depicted in a great performance that is a triumphant return to his home country. Basically it is close to the previous Japanese performance, but it is not the same. Let’s sort it out here. HEAVEN AND HELL (4 songs)・Children of the Sea/Die Young/Heaven and Hell//Neon Knights MOB RULES (4 songs)・The Mob Rules/The Sign of the Southern Cross/Voodoo/Falling Off the Edge of the World DEHUMANIZER (2 songs)・I/Computer God Others: Shadow Of The Wind…and it goes like this. Opening with “The Mob Rules,” a group of famous songs that represent the essence of Ronnie SABBATH rush into the scene. On top of that, they also performed “Shadow Of The Wind” which could not be heard in Japan. This new song was dropped from the set in the middle of “North America #2,” but it was revived for the fans in their home country. Moreover, this day was the genuine last performance. And the performance that spins such a set is overwhelming. The excitement in London was amazing as they welcomed the heroes of their home country who had previously excited the whole world, and the four of them who witnessed it were clearly enthusiastic. “Heaven & Hell” is a passionate performance that lasts for 18 minutes, and even at the ending of “Neon Knights,” Iommi plays a solo as if he is reluctant to leave any trace. Even after the show ends, the audience’s enthusiastic calls continue, and you can really feel the lingering feeling that makes you wonder, “Will this show happen again?!” RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, DIO… Ronnie James Dio built a glorious era no matter what band he was in, and had a tremendous presence and influence on the scene. HEAVEN & HELL was his “last flower”. A valuable original live album that allows you to witness the glorious British highlight performances with the best sound.
