Description
Immediately after the release of “Bebe Le Strange” in 1980, the Fort Worth, Texas performance was recorded for 1 hour and 33 minutes in high quality stereo line recording from the local FM broadcast master. A short interview with Ann Wilson is included at the beginning. The concert started with the title track “Bebe Le Strange”. There is a momentary noise due to tape damage at the 38th second, but after that there is no problem and you can listen to the end. (The 10-second deterioration of the right channel from 3:40 in Crazy On You was resolved by converting only that part to monaural.) We also carefully removed the minute noise that was scattered throughout the song. By correcting the balance that was biased to the right and increasing the bass, we have improved the slightly thin sound image and reduced the crispness characteristic of radio sound sources, creating a clear and rich sound that is highly enjoyable to listen to. The 1980 tour set included a large number of new songs throughout, including the single Even It Up, Raised On You, Strange Night, Silver Wheels, Break, Down On Me, Rockin’ Heaven Down, Sweet Darlin’, etc. , you can enjoy high-quality stereo line recording. Even It Up, where you can enjoy a new sound featuring a horn section, is one place to listen to. The excitement in the first half of the first half, which continues with Raised On You, a hard pop song featuring a colorful band ensemble with Nancy Wilson taking lead vocals, and Strange Night, which is hard with an acoustic riff, is amazing, and both the band and the audience enjoy the live performance. It is clear that he is feeling the full response to the new work. The tasteful Just The Wine featuring the flute, the blues-like number Down On Me from the new work, etc. are also wonderful hooks in the whole (Down On Me 2:41 has a tape change cut). Following the impressive Mistral Wind, followed by the acoustic piece Silver Wheels, the lighthearted Break that completely changes the atmosphere is full of power. Following the signature songs Magic Man and Barracuda, you can experience the excitement that can be called the concert peak with the dramatic Rockin’ Heaven Down full of Zeppelin flavor. The main set ends with the familiar Rock And Roll ballad Sweet Darlin’, a refreshing flow unique to this time of year. The last track is a moving ending with Unchained Melody from the rock’n’roll cover I’m Down/Long Tall Sally. Original guitarist Roger Fisher has left the group, and Howard Reese will be in charge of all guitars from this tour. This is a recommended piece that allows you to enjoy Heart’s 1980 live performance, which broke new ground in a variety of new ways, with high-quality sound.
