This is the full picture of the latest tour announced to date. The Kaunas performance in this film was the 15th show of the “European” leg. Speaking of Guns N’ Roses, they recently appeared at Ozzy Osbourne’s final concert, “BACK TO THE BEGINNING,” and their pro-shot “BACK TO THE BEGINNING” was a big hit. This film was shot 6 shows later (17 days later). Filmed on location, this film features a powerful shot of Axl Rose raging right before your eyes. It’s incredibly intense! The screen captures the raised arms of nearby audience members, so it doesn’t seem like we’re in the front row, but we’re probably in the second or third row at most. The sense of distance to Axl and Slash is no different from being in the front row. And what really enhances this feeling of having a special seat is the ultra-realistic camerawork. In fact, there’s barely any zooming (they’re close enough that it’s not necessary), and the camera simply pans lightly from side to side. While this might normally be considered a rather bland cinematography technique, it’s the perfect solution for the front row. After all, the human eye doesn’t have a zoom function; you turn your head in the direction you want to see. The camerawork in this film accurately recreates that sensation with the naked eye, allowing you to experience a super-special seat right in the front row in an ultra-realistic way.
