Description

This work is a reprint of the masterpiece live album “ANOTHER MARQUEE TAPE”. “MARQUEE 1987” had some chipping at the beginning of “Shadow Of Your Love” and after the end of “Paradise City”, but this work does not include the DJ’s opening MC. It is a recording that was destined to complement “MARQUEE 1987”. And its excellent quality is also one of the reasons that made it possible to complement each other. There is some tape undulation at the beginning, but it quickly improves, and by the time “Out Ta Get Me” starts, the superb sound is fully open. It transforms into a clear sound that is overwhelming with a miraculous direct feeling and vividness, and runs like that until the end. The clarity is special even in the Crazy S. collection. His works are always great, but especially after 1986, his level has improved dramatically. I think he probably changed his equipment around this time, but this work is a work after that “level up”. While absorbing plenty of the raw “on-site feeling”, the enthusiasm does not block the solid musical sound, and it is a beautiful recording that can be called “like a sound board”. When it was first excavated from the POWER GATE label, it may have been natural that it caused a shock despite the existence of a masterpiece. The legendary night depicted with that sound… It is exactly the “first step of the revolution”. While the audience at the scene did not know most of the songs, super-famous songs that will be engraved in rock history are being played. Not only will nine songs from the revolutionary board “APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION” be played in abundance, but they will also perform “Shadow Of Your Love” by HOLLYWOOD ROSE, “Move To The City” and “Nice Boys” from “LIVE ?!*@ LIKE A SUICIDE”, and “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door”, which will later become a standard repertoire. In fact, “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” was only sound checked once on the first day of the marquee performance, and was premiered in the actual performance. This is the very early version of the second performance. A famous recording that has continued to convey the “legendary marquee”. This is the whole story. This is a superb board that allows you to re-experience the “legendary night” from a different perspective, with a special sound that established the reputation of the master “Crazy S.” Please enjoy the smile of the recording goddess to your heart’s content.
