After coming to Japan in 2017, the “Not In This Lifetime Tour” began with a Euro tour at the end of May, after touring Australia and Asia. The performance in Munich, Germany on June 13th was recorded in full for a total of 2 hours and 55 minutes. Moreover, the audience master from the front row was digitally remastered, and this long stage was completely reproduced with a quality that makes it seem like a soundboard at first listen. The set was also a standard flow of this tour, and on this day, Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” was played as a tribute to Chris Cornell, who committed suicide, and it was performed as an encore, and furthermore, as a tribute to Gregg Allman, who also passed away, Allman Brothers Band’s “Melissa” was performed before that. Furthermore, as a tribute to Chris, the Stones’ “Far Away Eyes” was used at the Japanese performances, but here, Soundgarden’s “You Know My Name” is played at the venue, so be sure to check it out.
