Description
After coming to Japan in 2017, the “Not In This Lifetime Tour” began with a Euro tour at the end of May, after tours in Australia and Asia. The 17th performance of the European leg, held in Saint-Denis, France on July 7th, was recorded in a complete digital audience recording over 3 hours and 18 minutes. The venue, Stade de France, is a multi-purpose stadium that is also the home of the French national soccer team, and its capacity is a huge stadium with a capacity of over 80,000 people. The huge scale of the show was recorded directly next to the huge PA, so the vivid sound made it seem like a sound board for a moment, recreating the entire show. The set was also a standard for this tour, but since the Euro tour, the number of sets has increased more than usual, and on this day in particular, the four daily songs that were the key points were included in the set, “New Rose”, “My Michelle”, “Sorry” and “Patience”, and of course “Black Hole Sun” dedicated to Chris Cornell and AC/DC’s “Whole Lotta Rosie” were also included in the set. Also, “Double Talkin’ Jive” started off light-heartedly, but suddenly Axl stopped playing. The 80,000 fans were so excited that the MC shouted, “Calm down and stand back!” in a very realistic scene.
