Description

With the death of Gregg Allman at the age of 69 in May 2017, four of the six original Allman Brothers members were absent, bringing another end to the history of Southern Rock. In tribute to Gregg, this title is a compilation of his solo performances from the 1980s onwards, recorded over 2 hours and 27 minutes, mainly featuring TV appearances from the 1980s. It starts with a live tour in 1981, the early days of his solo career, followed by live performances with the reunited Allman Brothers, including 1995’s “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” and 1997’s “Farm Aid”, and finally footage from his 2016 solo live tour in his later years, with additional audience footage, including mobile footage. 01.Instrumental/02.Never Knew How Much (I Needed You)/03.Come And Go Blues/04.Rehearsing/05.Key To The Highway/06.Key To The Highway (Alternate Take) [at Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ, USA December 11th 1981] 07.Midnight Rider/08.Melissa [Thicke Of The Night April 1984] 09.
