Description

GIRL, who were particularly popular among women during the NWOBHM era in the early 1980s, performed in Japan for the first time. The main performance is the live performance at Nagoya City Public Hall on December 2, 1980, recorded from a good audience master for that time. First, the final day of all five performances is recorded completely over 71 minutes on an audience tape that was recently unearthed for the first time. Moreover, for a cassette recording of that time, it is extremely intense and of the highest quality, and the high-pitched squeals between songs are well balanced. Phil Collen and Philip Lewis, who were 22 years old at the time and were visiting Japan for the first time, were prejudiced due to their glamorous appearance, but the content reaffirms the greatness of the live performance with a stylish arrangement that is inconsistent with the image, including R&R/boogie/reggae and new wave elements. In addition, disc:2 includes the late show at Asakusa International Theater on December 2, which was held before that, recorded from a soundboard source from the FM on-air master at that time. Since it is a 28-minute digest from the popular “FM Live Special” broadcast at the time, the quality is perfect and official. Although it is short, with only 7 songs, there are almost no soundboard live performances, so it is a must-listen memorial item for fans of the past. Disc 1 : 1. Intro 2. Wasted Youth 3.
