Description

Mainly the sound source of George’s performance with Ravi Shankar, who he once looked up to as his mentor, but also the live sound source of his co-stars with Paul Simon and Dylan, all compiled in master quality and soundboard. First, on June 10, 1968, the sound source was from the film “Raga” in which George and Ravi Shankar performed the sitar, and on November 3, 1977, the two appeared on the TV show “David Frost Show”. George plays the sitar for the first time in a while. The following “All Things Must Pass (acoustic guitar rendition)” is a valuable press kit sound source distributed in January 2001, a 1984 press interview, and a little-known 1988 interview with George’s son Danny and Ravi. “Ride Rajbun” in March, “Prabhujee” from a TV broadcast to promote Ravi’s album “Chants Of Indiana” produced by George, and “Anoushka”, a promo sound source for Ravi’s daughter’s sitar album. It is a great gift for fans to be able to listen to sound sources that are difficult to obtain now all at once. 01. Raga Private Instruction (George & Ravi) / 02.
