Description

The DCC remastered version of “ALL THINGS MUST PASS” has been shelved, but this one boldly omitted the “APPLE JAM” side that belonged to the third album of the triple LP album and released it as a single CD. (This may be the reason why it was shelved). Therefore, this “APPLE JAM” side is included in the first half of the CD. For its recording, the nostalgic “Showa Remaster” was used. This version is rarely looked back on now, but it also has a fairly natural sound, and unlike the main album, it has a low wall of sound index, so it is typical of CDs from this era. It’s not a flimsy finish, but the lines are surprisingly nice and you can enjoy it. On this CD, what is recorded after the “APPLE JAM” side are outtakes from the recording session. All of these were familiar to enthusiasts as “John Barrett sound sources” and were discovered at the same time as various studio sound sources of the Beatles. Therefore, various items have been released, but this time we have adopted the best remastered version that was included in “BARE IT ALL VOL.5″, a bullet sound source compilation released on the Internet by mania Masterjedi. All of the performances are rough compared to the songs on the album, but everyone was surprised by George’s “Get Back,” which he played between sessions after the Beatles disbanded, and “Going Down To.” “Golders Green” is a number performed by Ringo, Klaus Voormann, and George with just the three of them. This has an atmosphere similar to “John’s Soul”, which has exactly the same participating musicians, and the George version, that is, the sound that makes you want to call it “George’s Soul” is interesting. And “Pete Drake’s Talking Steel Guitar” This is the scene where pedal steel player Pete Drake showed off the effect of the talking modulator to George and Phil Spector during the overdubbing work of “Wah-Wah”. In this way, the first half includes parts that have not been remastered by DCC to supplement the content of the album, and the second half includes rare outtakes, making it a very fulfilling CD. (51:52) -Apple Jam-1. Out Of The Blue 2. It’s Johnny’s Birthday 3. Plug Me In 4. I Remember Jeep 5. Thanks For The Pepperoni -All Things Must Pass Outtakes-6. I Live For You 7 . Dehradun 8. Pete Drake’s Talking Steel Guitar Tracks 1 to 5 are included from the out-of-print early CD before remastering, as they were missing from the DCC edition. Tracks 6 to 11 are included from Masterjedi’s “Bare It All Vol.5”.
