This is a 2-disc set of the best stereo soundboard recordings of the live performance by the popular quartet George Adams/Don Pullen Quartet, which was held at Lugano Estival Jazz in Switzerland on July 3, 1984, with special guest Archie Shepp. George Adams and Don Pullen, who had been friends with the Jazz Messengers and the Charles Mingus Band, were joined by Danny Richmond and Cameron Brown, and the quartet was popular from the 70s to the 80s.
