Description
On June 24, 1978, the UK completely recorded the festival performance held at Knebworth Park with the highest level stereo soundboard recording. This performance was broadcast on the radio at the time and was a familiar performance among fans since the analog era, but this edition surpasses all previous releases, including CD editions, in terms of sound quality and content. Uses “Pre-FM Continuous Mix”, which is rated as the definitive version. High range, low range, depth, all of which have been upgraded to a perfect sound, and the entire show is completely recorded. Contains the best version without the inter-song commercials inserted in four places that disrupt the flow of the live performance. Bands other than Genesis were performing that day, including Jefferson Starship, Tom Petty, Devo, Brand You can listen to the show with the best sound quality. The precious early number The Fountain Of Salmacis, which plays for nearly 10 minutes, is one of the highlights. In addition to the overwhelming excitement of Dance On A Volcano ~ Drum Duet ~ Los Endos in the second half of the show, you can enjoy a number of dramatic and dramatic numbers with the best performance and the best sound from beginning to end. In the second half of Disc 2, Houston recorded the summit performance on October 22, 1978 in an ultra-high quality stereo sound board recording for about 1 hour. This also uses the “PreFM version” that has appeared in recent years, and you can enjoy the energetic performance at the end of the 1978 tour with the highest sound quality, which completely exceeds the previously released version using the air check sound source. The bass sound and overall scale/separation are truly amazing and the highest quality sound. The Cinema Show in the middle, which you can listen to with this sound, is one of the best places to listen. Furthermore, this edition includes the drum duet of the day and the encore I Know What I Like, which have never been released before, from the KBFH master (Wolfgang Volt) sound source that has appeared in recent years. As for the drum duet, it was faded in and out after Los Endos and recorded separately, but it has been inserted in the correct position to make it as natural as possible. The Wolfgang Volt sound source that appeared this time has a shoddy overall sound and is inferior to the pre-FM master, so the main 50 minutes use the pre-FM master, and the 10 minutes that are not included use the WF sound source. As for the Houston performance, you can enjoy the highest quality and longest recorded take. Total recording time: 2 hours 47 minutes. The highest quality edition will be released, allowing you to fully enjoy the 1978 Knebworth performance and Houston performance in the highest quality ever.
