This newly discovered stereo soundboard recording captures the November 14th performance at Rosemont, part of the 1981 North American tour supporting the release of “Abacab.” First, it was recorded directly from the master mix, thanks to a leak from the relevant parties. The unprocessed sound is incredibly realistic, clearly reproducing even the subtle nuances of the band’s ensemble. Furthermore, unreleased segments, such as between songs and encores, are complemented by premium audience recordings, providing a complete 2-hour, 10-minute rendition of the day’s performance. While this particular live performance is also available on the official “Three Sides Live” release, this was the third show of the North American leg, a few weeks before the official release. Naturally, there’s no overlap, and tracks from the album, such as “No Reply At All,” “Man On The Corner,” and “Who Dunnit?”, are not officially included on the release. In any case, since it is directly connected to the mixing desk, it lacks a sense of live presence, but because it is unprocessed and unedited, the power of the band sound and vocal parts is unparalleled.
