Description

This is a master quality audience recording of the performance in Munich, Germany on June 27th, the final day of the second half of the three-month US & Euro tour with Bill Bruford, which was held in conjunction with the release of “A Trick Of The Tail” in 1976. This is a rare recording that was leaked online by a taper living in Germany in recent years, and as an audience recording from that time, it is quite clear and well-balanced, and above all, there are only a limited number of live recordings from when Bill Bruford was in the band, so fans should definitely check it out. Moreover, the drums are recorded with a lot of on-screen sound, so Bill’s superb playing explodes in the delicate drumming on “Firth Of Fifth”, the lively playing on “Squonk”, the 9/8 time signature on “Supper’s Ready”, and the beat-only part on “I Know What I Like”. There are many other highlights, including the rare “White Mountain” and “Los Endos,” played as an encore song, not as a medley. DISC ONE: 01. Dance On a Volcano 02. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway 03. Fly On a Windshield 04. Carpet Crawl 05. The Cinema Show 06. Robbery Assault And Battery 07. White Mountain 08. Firth Of Fifth DISC TWO: 01.Entangled 02.Squonk 03. Supper’s Ready 04. I Know What I Like -encore- 05. Los Endos [Live at , Munchen, Germany Jun 27th 1976] Phil Collins – Vocal & Drums / Steve Hackett – Guitar / Mike Rutherford – Bass & Guitar / Tony Banks – Keyboards / Bill Bruford – Drums & Percussion
