The ultimate show is “GENERATION AXE A NIGHT OF GUITARS”, which has become a big hit in the streets. It is a super guitar competition concert with five super guitarists. The five are Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Nuno Bettencourt, and Tosin Abasi. Tosin is from the new generation, but the other four are all fierce warriors who competed for the top in the “guitar warring states era” of the 1980s. Not only superb technique, but also extremely strong individualists have gathered together. This project toured the United States in 2016. Guitar fans all over the world were relieved, and it arrived in Japan this April. This work is a superb audience album that includes the “April 3, 2017: Zepp Nagoya performance”. The biggest point of this work is the virtuoso hail, but the sound that conveys it is also superb. After all, the one who made this work is the familiar master “Western Japan’s Strongest Taper”. He is a master who has been making super recordings of HR/HM for many years, but his biggest point is the guitar sound no matter what. Of course, both the rhythm section and the vocals are recorded beautifully and dignified, but his standards start from “how to record the guitar clearly” and end with “how to capture the guitar sound beautifully”. The ingenuity and wisdom for this result in making other instruments powerful. Since he is such a “strongest” person, he is perfect for this event concert. No, no matter how many famous recordists there are in Japan, there is no one more suitable than him. In fact, the sound of this work is the most amazing of the “strongest” collection. Every time, he makes a series of recordings that go “just like a sound board”, but this time the direct feeling and clarity are beyond the limit. Everyone attacks with a ferocious number of sounds of Guinness class, but each sound is clear… not only that, but even the subtle vibrato and touch on each fine rapid-fire note are detailed.
