Description
Following in the footsteps of John McLaughlin and Larry Coryell, who pioneered and led a new era of jazz guitar at the time, John Abercrombie, who along with Pat Metheny was attracting attention as a promising guitarist with a fresh sensibility, and Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette, who were key members of Miles Davis’s sound as he made a dramatic transition from acoustic to electric, formed the supergroup “Gateway.” This rare live performance, held in Bregenz, Austria on February 24, 1975, before the group had even begun recording an album, lasted nearly an hour and has now arrived!
