Description

Gary Moore’s ultra-high quality live broadcast takes are compiled in chronological order. All of them have been upgraded compared to the previously released takes. Disc 1 contains the recording of the Reading Festival on August 28, 1982 in the best sound quality. The rhythm section is Ian Paice and Neil Murray, but only during this period, the vocals are provided by former Ted Nugent (now Foghat) Charlie Han, and the keyboard is provided by the late Tommy Iyer, so you can enjoy the precious performance of this lineup only during this period in ultra-high sound quality. Charlie’s singing is wonderful, and he sings a solid melody so accurately that it’s hard to believe that he stood on this big stage in just his fourth live performance. The ultra-high quality line recording of Dallas Warhead featuring Ian Paice’s drum solo is full of power. This sound source has been around in the past and there are already released versions, but this take uses a take recorded with the best sound that has appeared in recent years, and you can enjoy this historic live performance with a much better sound than the already released “Do You Want Some Moore?”. On Disc 2, the most excellent and attractive FM broadcast sound source during the release of “Corridors Of Power” was recorded on March 16, 1983, at the Paris Theater in London, in a super high-quality stereo line recording. This is the highest quality version of the 1983 London broadcast take, equivalent to the master released a few years ago under the title “BBC Treasures”. You can enjoy the official-class sound that is incomparable to the many previous releases. The above-mentioned Parisienne Walkways of this day, which has not yet been released, is also included. This is a performance about one month after the Japan tour, with the golden lineup of Neil Murray, Ian Paice, and Don Airey. This is the first live performance when the band was formed as a four-person group after John Sloman left the band. You can enjoy the best sound quality in the selection of songs, performance content, and the best performances in their careers. Disc 3 contains about 40 minutes of the BBC live performance at Chippenham on January 21st, during the release of “Victims Of The Future”, recorded in ultra-high quality stereo line recording. This is a live performance after Neil Carter, who can play both keyboards and guitar, joined the band, and is also familiar from the TV program “Sight & Sound”. This also uses the highest quality version from the radio master that has appeared in recent years. Finally, five songs from the live performance at Monsters of Rock on August 18, 1984 are recorded in ultra-high quality stereo line recording for about 32 minutes. The drummer is Bobby Chouinard, who participated in the 1984 US tour, and the bass is Bob Daisley, who officially joined the band at this time. There have been several takes of this take in the past, but this edition contains the highest quality take that has appeared in recent years. All are composed of upgraded sound sources, and all pitches have been accurately corrected. A must-listen 3-disc set for all hard rock fans, compiling the best performances of the hard rock era with ideal sound.
