Description

The legendary Gary Moore’s first visit to Japan brought an unforgettable impact. The world’s first Kinney Master, which conveys the scene, is a new excavation. What was inscribed into the new excavation master was “January 24, 1983: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall.” It is an exquisite audience recording that records the whole story. His first visit to Japan was a shock that burned into the minds of guitar players all over the country, and our store has archived it in numerous live albums. The official version is “ROCKIN’ EVERY NIGHT,” so let’s first organize the collection by date. ・January 22: Shibuya Public Hall “FACING GARY” ・January 24: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall ←★This work★ & official ・January 25: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall ← *Official ・January 26: Osaka Festival Hall “CORRIDORS OF BLOOD”・January 27: Kyoto Kaikan “KYOTO 1983”・January 28: Fukuoka Sun Palace Hall “FUKUOKA 1983”・January 30: Nagoya City Public Hall・January 31: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall “A THING OF THE PAST” CD1-2 February 1st: Shibuya Public Hall “THE DEFINITIVE END” *Note: Only representative works are shown on each day. Above are all 9 performances. The official “ROCKIN’ EVERY NIGHT” was produced from two performances at the Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall, and this show is one of them. It was a concert on the second day of their first visit to Japan. Speaking of records of this show, “HEAVY KNUCKLES (part of)” is known, but this work is a completely different recording. It is also a new excavation master of super high quality that does not matter such as existing groups. In fact, the sound of this work is exquisite Kinney magic. What’s amazing is the super detailed guitar. Overall, there is an audience-like atmosphere that breathes in, but when it comes to the guitar, it is very direct with no sense of distance. If you listen to it microscopically with headphones, it seems like the guitar has some hole sound, but you won’t notice it unless you look for it with all your might. Each grain of machine gun picking is clear, and even the screaming choking is clearly transmitted to the way the fingers are raised. To be honest, the balance is so good that I’d like to call it a “guitar album,” but it’s still not unnatural, which is strange. After all, it is probably the effect of the hall sound mentioned earlier. Even if you don’t feel it consciously, the ensemble and guitar will harmonize unconsciously, giving you a sense of realism and realism. Although we only talked about the guitar, the other instruments were also very clear. Although it is certainly not as close as the guitar, the atmosphere is clear and you can clearly enjoy the rhythm section and keyboard. Especially the bass is amazing. Despite the volume being lower than that of a guitar, Neil Murray’s outline is very sharp, and the singing lines and mellow grooves are perfect. You can enjoy every inch of the awesomeness of the ensemble, which has earned the nickname “COLOSSEUM III.” What is depicted with such sound is the scene of the first visit to Japan, which has not faded even after more than 35 years. As mentioned earlier, the traditional official work “ROCKIN’ EVERY NIGHT” remains, but this work is a full recording that allows you to enjoy plenty of repertoire that cannot be heard there. Let’s organize the contents here. ●BACK ON THE STREETS (3 songs)・Back on the Streets・ROCKIN’ EVERY NIGHT: Songs that cannot be heard on: Hurricane/Parisienne Walkways ●G-FORCE (2 songs)・White Knuckles/Rockin’ And Rollin’●CORRIDORS OF POWER (8 songs) ・Wishing Well/Rockin’ Every Night/I Can’t Wait Until Tomorrow ・ROCKIN’ EVERY NIGHT: Songs you can’t listen to: End Of The World/Cold Hearted/Always Gonna Love You/Don’t Take Me For A Loser/Gonna’ Break My Heart Again ●Others (2 songs)・Nuclear Attack『DIRTY FINGERS』/Sunset…and so on. The core of the set is the famous album “CORRIDORS OF POWER”. “ROCKIN’ EVERY NIGHT” only had three songs, but in this work you can listen to all songs except “Falling in Love with You”. In particular, “Always Gonna Love You” and “Gonna’ Break My Heart Again” are delicious because they were only played on this tour. Speaking of his first visit to Japan, the biggest highlight was “Hurricane”! A fierce session by the dream team of Gary/Murray/Don Airey/Ian Paice. It is a very special song for Japanese people who were not able to experience Gary in the fusion era live, and it is a great performance that makes his first visit to Japan special. You can fully enjoy it with Kinney’s vivid magic sound. The film ends with a tearful performance of “Sunset,” dedicated to the late Randy Rhoads. After that, he visited Japan many times after meeting his ally Neil Carter, but his first visit to Japan was something special. The star players of the British rock world are all together, and the ensemble is amazing, playing guitar crazy and whittling down. A superb live album reprinting the full show from the prestigious Kinney’s original cassette, which will be released for the first time in the world. Complete first appearance sound source. Highest sound quality that far exceeds previous releases. The definitive version of the first day of Shinjuku Employees’ Pension.
