Description
Finally, finally, the last remaining best master of the Osaka performance is here! Now, all performances can be preserved forever… All of a sudden, we were talking about something that I didn’t understand. very sorry. This work is an audience album containing the “April 26, 2010 Grand Cube Osaka” performance from Gary Moore’s 2010 performance. The Japan tour was commemorated as “the first time in 21 years”, “the last time in my life”, and “the only blues visit to Japan”, but perhaps something was wrong with the motivation of the tapers all over the country. A large number of recordings remain. Let’s sort it out…. ●April 22: Tokyo SHIBUYA-AX “NOBODY ELSE BUT YOU” ●April 23: ZEPP NAGOYA “LET ME WITH THE BLUES” “LORD OF THE STRINGS” ●April 26: Grand Cube Osaka <No title> ●April 27th: Tokyo JCB Hall “LET ME WITH THE BLUES” “FAREWELL NOTE” ●April 28th: Tokyo International Forum “THE LAST CONCERT IN JAPAN” “TOKYO 2010 FINAL NIGHT” These four performances will be released on CD. Of these, three performances left behind two types of super recordings that are difficult to rank. You understand now, right? That’s right, until now, only once, “April 26th Grand Cube Osaka”, there was no sound source suitable for making it into a CD. Since this is a monumental tour in every sense of the word, it is frustrating that just one performance cannot be preserved forever. However, because it is a monument, we cannot leave it forever with a compromised sound. Of course, several types of masters from the Osaka performance had arrived, but if you compare them with other super-sounding performances, they will inevitably be inferior to the listening performance…Such a situation has continued for five years. That is the meaning of “Finally!” at the beginning. This work was recorded by Mr. West Japan’s Strongest Taper, who is well known. He knows the sweet spots of West Japan live venues and has a reputation for his strong guitar sound, so this time he was recorded with an excellent sound. Why, why didn’t you bring it out sooner? It seems that he was not confident in front of the super quality performances in Tokyo and Nagoya that were appearing one after another, but that was because he was too humble. Even if you listen to it side by side with other performances, there is no difference at all. All instruments and vocals are recorded with ideal balance, and the bass, which tends to be crushed even in audience recordings, is also beautiful. It is certainly difficult to say whether or not this work is the number one of all performances and recordings, but it is a sound that can be a strong candidate. If you are humbled by this sound, is this the “pride of a top taper”? The main part of the live show is exactly the same set list as other performances, but it features Gary Moore, the “improv demon”. Moreover, since it is a blues form with plenty of space to play the songs freely, each performance has a completely different taste. If you have listened to the four performances released so far, you may know that yesterday’s song made me cry with long, slow tones, but today it makes me cry with delicate machine gun picking. It is a full-length guitar paradise where such moments continue endlessly. To be honest, back in 2010, I had mixed feelings about coming to Japan in the blues style because I love “Hard Rockin’ Gary” so much. However, when I witnessed the stage performance where they were playing freely and crying in a way that exceeded the hard rock style, I selfishly thought to myself, “Why didn’t you come and show me some live blues sooner?” That shock and emotion comes back to life with the realism of the audience recording… I would like to reiterate that the 2010 Japan tour was “the first time in 21 years”, “the last time in my life”, and “the only blues visit to Japan”. But for Gary himself, it was more than that. After this Japan performance, they played one Korean performance, and then disbanded the band. He teamed up with Neil Carter again and returned to the world of hard rock. In other words, it was also a “culmination of blues” live that dedicated the 20 years since 1990. The 5-day 2010 Japan tour was special in Gary’s entire life. The last piece of that work has been completed with this work. Of course, it would be best if you could complete all days, but if you are listening for the first time, you can choose the international forum to be the last one in Japan, or you can commemorate the live show you went to. Probably. However, once you hear it, you’ll want to listen to other performances as well. That’s all, it was a tour that let you listen to plenty of “mellow and free Gary Moore” at all the live performances. This work is also one of those shining ones. After 5 years of waiting without compromise, I finally found a high quality live album. This weekend, we will deliver “The Last Night in Osaka” to you.
