Description

We will present you with a two-disc set containing the representative soundboard and pro shot immediately after the first visit to Japan. Both “representative soundboard and pro shot” are the same show. It is “PINK POP FESTIVAL 1983” held in “Sittard Geleen on May 23, 1983”. It is a two-disc set with FM sound source (8 songs: 56 minutes) broadcast on radio on disc 1 and pro shot (2 songs + interview: 15 minutes) broadcast on television on disc 2. The standard sound source and video have been introduced in various forms for a long time, but this work is the latest and highest peak version. The FM sound source on disc 1 is a special edition announced as “Krw_Co Collection”, and the pro shot on disc 2 is the highest sound quality and image quality master to date. The greatest taste of this work is that you can enjoy the super ensemble of the star lineup with soundboard and pro shot. This is all there is to it. In fact, Gary’s early solo has many small member changes, and even here it is slightly different from the Japanese performance. This is a good opportunity to organize the changes that took place in the very early days. May 1982: Completion of “CORRIDORS OF POWER” August 1982: UK (4 performances) (LINE UP A: Tommy Eyer + Charlie Hearn) September 1982: Release of “CORRIDORS OF POWER” November 1982-January 1983: UK + Germany (16 performances) January-February 1983: Japan (9 performances) (LINE UP B: Don Airey + John Sloman) March-May 1983: Europe (9 performances) ← [This work] (LINE UP C: Don Airey) May 1983: Partner Neil Carter joins *Note: All of the above rhythm sections are Neil Murray & Ian Paice This is a summary of VIRGIN’s re-debut to their meeting with partner Neil Carter. The biggest turning point of “Hard Rockin’ Gary” was his partner Carter, who was a multi-player who played keyboards, guitar, and vocals. After he joined, “Gary Moore” stood out as an individual, and Carter assisted him in the parts he could not do alone. In contrast, “Before Carter” was mainly about the clash of star players who sparked off each other. It’s not that one is better or worse than the other, but as mentioned above, there were only 38 performances “Before Carter”, and it is a special period that maniacs are particular about. Even in such a “Before Carter” period, there are small changes. The rhythm section is fixed to Pace & Murray, but the keyboard and singers have changed. After the Japan performance, the dedicated singer: John Sloman left, and Gary Moore had just become independent as a singer. However, the essence of this work is the clash of the instrumentalists more than the singing. The fusion number “Hurricane” is also performed in this work, and you can enjoy the super-class ensemble with line sound. Gary Moore / Don Airey / Neil Murray. This super band with Ian Paice joining this COLOSSEUM II trio. This is a masterpiece set that hits the awesomeness with a sound board and pro shot.
