Description

Vibraphonist Gary Burton’s official unreleased live performances include both performances in Vienna, Austria, December 7, 1975 (DISC 1) and Berlin, Germany, November 7, 1968 (DISC 2). Recorded with the finest stereo soundboard sound source broadcast locally in recent years. At DISC 1’s Vienna performance, Pat Metheny, who was just 20 years old in 1974, was appointed as a regular member of his group. DISC 2’s Berlin performance was a performance by the Gary Burton Quartet, which included former Stan Getz Quartet members Steve Swallow and Roy Haynes, and Jerry Hahn in place of Larry Coryell.
