Description
The charity concert hosted by the late Gary Brooker, which Clapton also participated in each time, was held at a club in Surrey, England on December 20, 2003. The show was recorded in full for two hours from the audience master using DAT recording, which was said to be the best equipment at the time and owned by a local taper. This was a regular end-of-year event held by Brooker, gathering veteran British musicians, and Clapton, who was an old friend of his, participated fully from the sixth song until the end. The set was also led by Brooker, and consisted of famous songs from the Procol Harum era, rhythm & blues, blues, soul standards, and traditional numbers, making it a must-listen for fans of both, as a tribute to Brooker, who passed away in 2022.
