Description

In the heyday of UK New Wave in the early 80s, Frankie Goes to Hollywood debuted under the production of ex-Buggles member Trevor Horn, and became a big hit in Japan with hits such as “Relax”. This album contains all the BBC live recordings from their heyday in master quality and on soundboard. The album compiles 13 tracks, including studio live performances from 1982 to 1983, just before the release of their shocking first album “Welcome to the Pleasure Dome”, to a live performance at Sefton Park in Liverpool on July 29, 1982. There are very few live recordings of them left, so this is a must-have for 80’s UK rock fans, including their signature songs “Relax” and “The Power of Love”, as well as “Two Tribes”, which Trevor Horn later covered in his solo live performances. 01.
