Description

During the live event “ACTUEL FESTIVAL” held in Belgium from October 24th to 5th, 1969, Zappa himself participated as a guest, and all of the valuable jam session sound sources are in good condition at the time. Compiled from Audience Master. First of all, it started with a session with Aynsley Dunbar who would later join the Zappa band, and the second day, the 25th, was Pink Floyd, right after Syd Barrett left. Since David Gilmour has just joined the band, Gilmour’s colors haven’t really appeared in the songs yet, and the performance has an early psychedelic flavor. Drive”, Zappa joined in on guitar and performed over 20 minutes of improvisation. Furthermore, Caravan, which appeared on the next day on the 26th, was a band formed by Pi Hastings, Dave Sinclair, and Richard Coughlan after the split of WILD FLOWERS, with Richard Sinclair joining them. It is also unique to this period that you can hear live performances of Dave Sinclair’s early songs centered on the organ. The title song of this next album, the second album, is a valuable early version that shows a glimpse of what would later become a jazz-rock style. Zappa’s freaky guitar play stands out in a storm of strange time signatures. A great performance that gives off. Furthermore, Zappa will also be joining Blossom Toes on the 26th and Sam Apple Pie on the 27th, and they will also have a jam session.Although Zappa only participates in one song on each song, they are the cutting-edge artists of the time. Even among events that gathered a large number of artists, this is a permanent item that contains high-quality, flawless performances that will remain on record! 1.
