Fleetwood Mac/Sweden 1969

From the 1969 Euro Tour featuring triple guitars Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan, the November 6th performance in Örebro, Sweden, was recorded in full by the audience master, which was considered A-rank at the time. Even though it was the last period with these three people, the opening of this day was an explosion of orthodox British blues. It is also noteworthy that the set list changed every day at that time, and on this day in particular, they performed three songs, “Baby Please Set a Date”, “Stranger Blues” and “The Sun Is Shining”, with a selection of songs such as Elmore James Tribute. They also played familiar numbers such as “Rattlesnake Shake” and “Albatross”, and the final encore was a R&R number with “Fireball Rock” and “Jenny Jenny”, a dense performance unique to this period of British blues.
