This rare gig at the Fillmore West in San Francisco on July 6th and 7th, from the 1968 US tour with Peter Green, was recorded by the good audience master for that time. Although they have performed at the Fillmore West many times, this rare performance from their early days as a British blues band is still very enjoyable, and it is their first live performance in the US, which took place six months between the release of their debut album and their second album. Although there are some cuts and the second day is not complete, both have a strong R&R sound, and the exquisite twin guitar playing of Peter and Jeremy before Danny Kirwan joined the band, making this a must-listen live performance of early Mac full of blues feeling.
