The Firm, a super group formed by Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers, attracted much attention in the mid-80s. This compilation of live recordings from three German shows from the Euro tour following the release of their first album has been taken from the original audience masters, which were in good condition at the time and were unearthed in recent years. The recordings are from the Frankfurt show on October 3, 1984, the Ludwighafen show on November 4, and the Hamburg show on the following day, October 5. The recordings are almost complete, except for a few cuts in the latter half of the Hamburg show, and feature the band’s unique performance, with Paul’s soulful vocals, Jimmy’s familiar guitar playing, Chris’s tight and powerful drums, and the technical fretless bass of the band’s behind-the-scenes hero, the young Tony Franklin. However, there are fewer recordings than from the tour following the release of their second album, so this is a must-have edition that compiles the precious live performances of the band’s short-lived activities.
