Description
On August 25th and 26th, 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Eric Clapton’s live performance was held at the Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, Wisconsin. Both bands are completely recorded for 3 hours and 45 minutes from the high-quality audience master. Stevie Ray Vaughan is approximately 75 minutes, and Clapton is recorded in a complete recording version of 2 hours and 30 minutes, which is 16 minutes longer than the previously released version “SRV LAST NIGHT” (ECR014/5), and Steve You can listen to the second day of East Troy’s last live show, the longest ever, and in the highest quality. He has mastered three cassette tapes kept by a Clapton collector who is said to have acquired them in the early 1990s (Stevie’s Maxell XLII 90 marked “2nd Gen”, Clapton’s two TDK SA90s). The sound image recorded thickly and powerfully with little hedging is wonderful, and you can enjoy this day’s live performance with a sound full of scale. Cheers are also picked up between songs, and the recording position itself is a sound image that makes you feel a little distance from the stage, but anyway, the grain of the sound is wonderful, and it’s not satisfying to listen to. For both bands, the drum sounds are clearly recorded, the crisp sound is wonderful, and you can confirm the accuracy of the generation and the excellent freshness of the sound in various places. Vocals and guitar solos are also clearly recorded. There are cuts due to tape changes at Wonderful Tonight 7:56 and Sunshine Of Your Love 16:13, but other than that it is a complete recording. Today’s Can’t Find My Way Home appears for the first time as it has not yet been released. In the encore Sweet Home Chicago, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Stevie and Jimmie Vaughan appear, and you can listen to the wonderful excitement, including the guitar solo parts of each person.
