Description

First appearance sound source! Sunbury Festival held in Surrey on August 10, 1968. Ginger Baker performed at the 8th National Jazz Blues Festival. If you look at the announcements and posters from the time, you will notice in advance that there will be a special guest. But to think it was Eric. . . A title containing high-quality recording of this valuable live sound source has been released. Eric’s guitar is intertwined with avant-garde Ginger and Phil’s drum instrument. According to a fan at the time, “A guitarist wearing a white jacket came out on the way, but it was so far away that I couldn’t tell who it was, but as soon as he started playing, I recognized him! It was Eric. I’m already happy and excited.” As the fans noticed, the play was exactly Eric’s “that” jam, and it was a 9-minute jam and an 8-minute jam. The guitar used is Firebird! The precious first live session just before Cream disbanded is a must-listen. The bonus includes Cream’s performance in Boston on April 5, 1968. The reason why this performance is included is because the opening song “SUNSHINE OF YOUR LOVE” is a special version with a playing time of over 17 minutes. The longest version you should listen to!
