Description
From the Japan tour held in 1988 as part of the 25th anniversary of his professional debut celebration tour, the November 2nd Tokyo Dome performance was recorded over 2 hours and 9 minutes from a multi-camera professional shot video and a time-coded video master. There are digest versions of this performance with different songs on TV and radio, but this title is missing about 3 minutes from the opening of “Crossroads” and about 5 minutes from the second half of Elton’s “Candle In The Wind” to the first half of “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues”, but it is a shocking title that captures the entire stage in perfect footage. Not only is the first appearance part of about 50 minutes, such as “After Midnight” and “Can’t Find My Way Home”, which were not broadcast on TV, valuable, but the footage recorded on this master is edited with a different camera switch from the version that was broadcast, and its documentary value is unparalleled. The video is recorded in full with a quality that surpasses the broadcast version, and the audio is recorded on a mono soundboard, but this original audio is recorded on “Audio 1”. And the audio consisting of 13 soundboard tracks with the highest sound quality currently available and 8 original tracks is recorded on “Audio 2”, and of course it is set to be able to switch even during playback, so you can enjoy the gorgeous special live performance that was held at the Tokyo Dome 20 years ago with Elton John as a guest.
