The “Crossroads Guitar Festival” hosted by Eric Clapton was held over two days on September 20th and 21st for the first time in six years at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This time too, many of today’s most famous guitarists were invited, and the event was a great success, with unexpected collaborations and performances. Just recently, the sound source of Eric Clapton’s 2-day set recorded with a top-of-the-line microphone was uploaded on the internet! The sound quality was excellent and did not disappoint the fans’ expectations. We will release it very quickly as an emergency release. After all, this sound source was recorded in a convenient position slightly to the right of the center of the arena, and the first day was recorded with a high-quality Schopes MK4 microphone, and the second day was a matrix of Schopes MK4 recording and earphone ALD recording, resulting in high sound quality that can be said to be the highest in modern times. Therefore, there was no problem with the sound quality, and in addition, the guests who participated in Clapton’s set and supported it were amazing faces that can only be seen at a festival! The first day’s set was acoustic, with Clapton’s usual band playing bass, but there was Jamie Oldacre, the drummer who supported Clapton in the 70s, and Clapton’s right-hand man from the 90s to the 00s.
